Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Valid Airframe license
  • Proficient understanding of aircraft assembly and repair methodologies.
  • Familiarity with computer-based aircraft maintenance systems
  • Basic knowledge of FAA regulations related to CFT Part 145 repair station operations.
  • Must possess tools as specified in the required tool list.

Desirable Skills:

  • A & P License is preferred
  • Completion of a technical training program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal and structural repairs within a heavy maintenance/Transport or Regional Jet setting
  • Previous experience with Boeing 737 Classic & Next Generation Aircraft
  • Experience at a FAR 145 repair facility is advantageous

Physical Demands:

  • Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel as necessary for off-site maintenance support
  • Must provide tools as listed on the required tool list.
  • Good eye/hand coordination and unobstructed field of vision
  • Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet and lift weights up to 75 pounds
  • Capacity to work in confined spaces while using respiratory equipment
  • Ability to bend, crawl, twist, and maintain various positions for extended periods
  • Skill in precisely handling hand tools in diverse situations
