LPN - Medical Surgical Unit

Mercy is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Surgical unit. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify potential health risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the state of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
