We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our team at Prometeo Talent. As a Senior Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our client's Managed Services Operations Teams.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network performance management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems, as well as monitoring IT systems for performance and availability issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor IT systems for performance and availability issues, and troubleshoot problems using monitoring data.
- Develop and implement monitoring solutions with IT personnel to improve system efficiency.
- Create tools dashboards and reports for actionable information to support business decisions.
- Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and change requests to ensure minimal downtime.
Requirements
- 8 years of IT experience in network performance management.
- 4 years in performance analysis operation support and tuning for monitoring applications.
- Experience with Windows and Linux administration.
- Proficient in scripting (Python Shell/Bash PowerShell).
- Experience with monitoring solutions like Splunk SolarWinds Logic Monitor or Nagios.
- Strong analytical problemsolving communication and teamwork skills.
- Advanced English level.
