About the Role

Oaks Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our team as a Lifestyle Director for our Memory Care neighborhood. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing life-enriching programs and activities that promote the well-being and engagement of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Design, plan, and execute daily and weekly programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Resident Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of new residents and develop personalized care plans that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and the local community through volunteer engagement, event planning, and outreach initiatives.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Provide guidance, coaching, and training to caregiver staff on the implementation of our Memory Enhancement and Life Enrichment Program.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of resident care meet the highest standards of quality and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience working with residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias in a residential setting is required.
  • Qualifications: A strong background in program planning, event coordination, and staff supervision is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, creativity, and organizational skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Physical Job Requirements

To fulfill the demands of this role, the successful candidate must be able to perform key physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and supporting residents. Proper body mechanics and safety measures must be adhered to at all times.
