Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our emergency team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to critically ill patients.

About the Role

This part-time position includes overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. You will work closely with our experienced team of doctors and nurses to provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing emergency triage and obtaining vital signs
  • Assisting in stabilizing critically ill patients
  • Utilizing technical skills to perform exceptional medical care
  • Providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current CVT, LVT, or RVT licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within six months
  • Minimum of two years of veterinary ECC experience
  • Experience in anesthesia and monitoring of emergency procedures
