Position Overview: RN Telemetry Per Diem Tier II Nights

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct patient care in alignment with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement patient care plans, monitoring and documenting patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders effectively.
- Assess and collaborate on patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, which include physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

Assessment includes:
- Initial assessment
- Re-assessment
- Focused assessment based on patient needs and setting

Problem Identification: Utilize clinical judgment to determine the patient's responses to health conditions or needs.
Planning and Outcomes: Collaborate with patients and families to establish measurable goals and develop a care plan that reflects assessment data and problem identification.

Implementation: Deliver nursing care according to the care plan, ensuring continuity during hospitalization and preparing for discharge.
- Key actions include:
- Ensuring patient safety
- Administering medications
- Providing ordered treatments
- Educating patients and families
- Documenting care in healthcare records

Evaluation: Continuously assess the patient's status and the effectiveness of nursing interventions, modifying the care plan as needed.
Care Coordination: Engage in actions with patients, families, and healthcare team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care from admission to discharge.

Qualifications for the RN Telemetry Per Diem Tier II Nights Position:

Licensure/Certification:
- Required: Valid Arizona Nursing License or compact state license with the ability to obtain Arizona licensure within 30 days.
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or other certifications as required by the department.

Education:
- Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Work Experience:
- Required: None.
