Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in our telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, telemetry monitors, and EKG interpretation to identify any potential health risks or concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association certification preferred.
- One year of RN experience in a telemetry unit or similar setting.
