Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance and support to patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Protect the property and assets of Carle Health, including buildings, equipment, and patient information.
  • Respond to and handle emergency situations, including security incidents, medical emergencies, and fires.
  • Monitor and respond to security alarms, including access controls, panic alarms, and fire alarms.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
