JOB OVERVIEW: What does an LNA do?
The LNA-in-Training will work under the guidance of a Licensed Nurse, providing direct patient care and assisting with unit operations. Responsibilities include completing assigned tasks and being accountable to the Unit Manager and Charge Nurse. The role adheres to the policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and the University of Vermont Health Network, supporting the overall mission and objectives of the organization.

TRAINING SCHEDULE:
Theoretical and practical components of the training will be conducted during weekdays from morning to afternoon. After completing the program and passing the LNA licensure examination, trainees will transition into their designated full-time roles.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent, or actively pursuing their diploma. Candidates should be at least 18 years of age.

EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should demonstrate the ability to follow directions and a strong willingness to learn.
