Key Responsibilities:- Oversee data activities for accuracy and completeness between multiple facility systems, including the EMR, HIS, OMS, and medical case management system.
- Conduct regular data quality checks and reviews automated data mining results.
- Ensure accurate transfer of data between systems, troubleshoot issues, and refer complex issues to the technology department.
- Conduct root cause analysis using audit and report findings, and participate in the development of corrective action plans.
- Review patient health records for completion across all areas of health services, including clinical, dental, and mental health.
- Ensure accurate and complete transfer of data from OMEs as needed.
- Identify missing records or incomplete data and refer to department head for clinical corrections and completion.
- Verify and scrub data to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
- Monitor for record completion to ensure proper tracking of offsite and outside referrals, including emergency transfers.
- Verify proper data tracking throughout the EMS and HIS systems, including contract-specific systems as required by contract.
- Provide technical training and education to health services staff to improve the overall quality, accuracy, and reliability of EMR and HIS systems.
- Coordinate activities of the telehealth system and provide technical support.
