  • Supervise and Coordinate Clinical Operations: Oversee the daily clinical operations of assigned care teams, ensuring that patient care activities are carried out in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Lead Care Teams to Achieve Organizational Goals: Lead care teams in the achievement of organizational goals for health outcomes improvement, patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical quality goals.
  • Develop and Implement Clinical Protocols: Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and procedures to optimize clinical outcomes across the continuum of care.
  • Supervise and Develop Nursing Staff: Supervise and develop nursing staff, including selecting, training, orienting, and evaluating clinical competencies.
  • Maintain Optimal Staffing Schedules: Maintain optimal staffing schedules and provide direct patient care as needed to support clinic operations.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that staff provides the highest quality of care that complies with the Nurse Practice Act, TJC, federal/state/local, and health plan requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year of clinical nursing experience as an RN, with direct reports and/or unit oversight.
  • Education: Associate's degree in nursing (ADN).
  • Certifications: Active California RN License and BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care related field.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Employee will have frequent prolonged standing/walking.
  • Occasionally lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients.
  • Occasionally lifts supplies and equipment.
  • Handle emergency or crisis.
  • Occasionally one is subjected to multiple calls, and inquiries.
  • The Employee is exposed to unpleasant elements (Accidents, injuries and illness).
  • Varying work hours, this may include the weeknights and weekends.
  • Position requires reliable transportation for occasional traveling to clinics in San Diego County.
