We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Weekend Admission team at Infirmary HomeCare, a part of LHC Group. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their medical needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of care plans and progress.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, in accordance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
