About the Role

Terry Reilly Health Services is seeking a skilled Coding Specialist to join our team. As a Coding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our patient data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and code patient records for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure compliance with ICD and CPT coding regulations
  • Work with the revenue cycle team to resolve coding-related issues
  • Develop and maintain coding policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with ICD and CPT coding regulations
  • High level of understanding of clinical level and processes
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and direction
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • AAP Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
