Key Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing patient care plans, and implementing treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Monitor patient progress, identify potential issues, and take corrective action as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis therapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and lab results.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Minimum of one-year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Hemodialysis experience preferred.
- ICU experience preferred.
- Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
- Successfully complete CPR Certification.
