Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that all necessary interventions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating with the healthcare team as necessary to ensure seamless care.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, ensuring that patient care is well-coordinated and effective.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring that all necessary interventions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made for a smooth transition of care.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
