Join Our Team as a Speech-Language Pathology Faculty Member

We are seeking a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathology faculty member to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a key member of our Department of Speech-Language Pathology, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our Speech-Language Pathology Program.

About the Position

This is a full-time faculty position with a 12-month appointment. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Speech-Language Pathology, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: voice disorders, neurogenic speech disorders, or motor speech. A PhD or EdD in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is preferred, but applicants who are ABD are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in our Speech-Language Pathology Program
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the field of Speech-Language Pathology
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment tools for our Speech-Language Pathology Program
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance the mission and goals of our Department of Speech-Language Pathology
Requirements
  • PhD or EdD in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: voice disorders, neurogenic speech disorders, or motor speech
  • Current ASHA Certification and eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Pennsylvania
