Job Responsibilities:

Engage in Epic order verification, ensuring the preparation and delivery of medications and information to healthcare professionals and patients within the hospital setting.

Supervise technical staff across all operational phases. Verify all orders, IV admixtures, and the repackaging of medications. Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, focusing on prevention, adverse drug reaction management, pharmacokinetic consultations, and monitoring. This role also includes support at the Bel Air Campus and requires availability during weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Qualifications:
B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is required. Graduation from an accredited pharmacy school is essential.

Licensure:
A current Maryland pharmacist license is mandatory. Candidates must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Maryland.

Work Experience:
One to two years of experience in an institutional environment is preferred.

Working Conditions:
The position is primarily indoors in a clean, well-lit environment. The pace is fast, with frequent interruptions and varying workloads.

Regular exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials necessitates adherence to Standard (Universal) precautions and safe handling practices.

Flexibility to work beyond standard hours and rotate shifts based on departmental needs may be required.
