Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness. Dependability is crucial for all shifts. The candidate must demonstrate kindness, integrity, and respect towards colleagues while managing their time effectively. A collaborative spirit is essential; we foster a culture that values teamwork over individualism. Adherence to food safety standards is paramount, given our service to a vulnerable population. Proficiency in knife skills is also required. This role offers a balanced work rhythm, surrounded by a supportive team and appreciative residents.

Requirements: Candidates must successfully pass a drug and background screening. A minimum of five years of experience in a high-volume kitchen is necessary. While a culinary degree is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

Essential Duties:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy cases.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and food cost control.
  • Provide friendly service to residents and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency.

Work Flexibility: While the standard workweek consists of 40 hours, flexibility in scheduling is required to meet business needs.
