We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer proficient in MasterCam to contribute to our dynamic team at McFarland Machine & Engineering. This role is pivotal in ensuring the precision and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Generate G-Code programs utilizing MasterCam software.
- Collaborate with machinists to operate CNC machines for initial article approvals.
- Assist in the setup of CNC machines for production runs.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience programming vertical and horizontal mills, as well as multi-axis lathes using MasterCam.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges effectively.
- Exhibit familiarity with various CNC controllers and machinery.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of CNC G-Code program architecture.
- Experience with multi-axis lathes featuring live tooling is a plus.
- Read and interpret blueprints, along with a solid grasp of GD&T principles.
- Showcase excellent communication skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in job shop environments.
- Standard working hours for the first shift are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Compensation will be aligned with the candidate's experience.
