Job Title: CNC Machine ProgrammerJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Programmer to join our team at Spherion CNC/CAM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop programs for CNC machines using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CAD
  • Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes
  • Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
  • Troubleshoot issues with programming or machinery
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize production processes
Requirements
  • Proficiency in programming CNC machines, particularly with Fanuc controls
  • Experience with machining operations and tooling
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
  • Familiarity with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers
