Resident Care Specialist

Description:
The Blake is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team at The Barclay House. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our assisted living and memory care residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and supportive listening to residents, engaging them in activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Report changes in resident health and status, completing daily data sheets to record progress.
- Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
- Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Assist with dining and activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
Requirements:
- A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless it is a state requirement.
- CPR/First Aid, preferred.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience working with older adults preferred.
- State background check and drug testing required.
