We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Services team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to patients, including administration of medications, monitoring of patients during diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions, and maintenance of accurate patient records.
- Under limited supervision, provide patient and family care within a broad range of healthcare needs, including conscious sedation, diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, chemical and exercise stress testing, and tilt table evaluations.
- Assure safe handoff of patients and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with an Associate's Degree in Nursing required and a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification is preferred and required to be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
