Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and administrative tasks.
  2. Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
  3. Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and processing medical records.
  4. Assist with laboratory tests, including collecting and processing specimens, and preparing patients for procedures.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Graduation from a medical assisting program or equivalent experience.
  3. Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
