About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk to join our team at Roche Bros. Supermarkets. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms and break rooms.
  • Perform daily washing of sales floor and deep cleaning of refrigerated cases.
  • Assist departments with weekly cleaning jobs, such as shelves, display bases, and cases.
  • Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods.
  • Comply fully with all safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting and moving of deliveries and equipment.
  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress code.
Requirements
  • Must demonstrate capability to interact with customers.
  • Must have a pleasant, outgoing, self-motivated personality.
  • Must demonstrate minimum mechanical skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work a scheduled based on the business needs of the store location.
  • Authorized to work within the U.S.
Working Conditions

The working environment is inside and outside, and may include exposure to cold and hot temperatures in wet or humid environments.
