Job Description

We are looking for a Summer Day Camp Counselor to join our team at KE Camps. As a Counselor, you will play a key role in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our campers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a group of campers, providing a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience
  • Cooperate with fellow Counselors and the Camp Director
  • Greet families and campers upon arrival
  • Support the Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers
  • Participate in all camp activities, including swim time and other recreational activities
  • Help out where needed and lead activities when assigned by the Camp Director

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children is preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified before the summer begins
  • Ability to sustain energy for participation in a full day's worth of activities
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, consistent, level-headed, flexible, and calm in all situations
