Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor at Greenbrier Management Company. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the general maintenance of our apartment community, including performing repairs, troubleshooting, apartment turnover, and performing preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure maintenance functions are performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with residents, vendors, and property management team on all maintenance services provided.
  • Respond to on-call emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Complete and follow up on all open unresolved tickets.
  • Utilize general maintenance equipment, including hand tools, ladders, landscaping equipment, and required safety equipment, ensuring safe usage.
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify required maintenance tasks, minimize liability concerns, and maintain excellent curb appeal.
  • Retain outside contractors as necessary and monitor work performed to ensure timely and proper completion.
  • Work with the Community Manager to obtain competitive bids for maintenance-related expenses.
  • Participate in company training classes and meetings.
  • Adhere to policies related to fair housing, OSHA, pool, and safety standards set by the company.
  • Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

Requirements:

  • Master plumber, electrician, or universal HVAC qualification.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
  • Three years of experience in apartment maintenance repairs.
  • Basic tools for the trade.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (work truck provided).
  • Flexibility to respond to occasional off-hour emergency situations and resident concerns.
