About Us:
RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek specializes in providing comprehensive inspection and analytical services to the oil and gas, chemical, and various commodities markets. With a worldwide network of laboratories and a commitment to exceptional customer service, we ensure our clients receive independent testing and inspection services tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, assess, and log incoming samples for testing.
- Transport test samples to designated areas for analysis.
- Monitor supply levels necessary for testing and communicate needs to the Laboratory Manager.
- Conduct testing of samples and quality control specimens following established methodologies, documenting results accurately.
- Prepare samples and quality control specimens, standardizing reagents and solutions as required.
- Verify and document results, ensuring all records are maintained accurately for traceability.
- Keep documentation, equipment, and workspaces organized and safe.
- Assist in training less experienced staff as proficiency is demonstrated.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
- Fundamental technical and administrative skills necessary for job performance.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to quality.
- Valid Driver's License and a reliable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Experience handling chemical and petroleum products.
- Proficiency in using online applications.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as required.
- Ability to perform analytical tasks and effectively communicate results.
