Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, mentor, and schedule the resident services team in alignment with Atria's policies and standards.

- Develop and maintain a medication management system compliant with state, federal, and company regulations.

- Conduct assessments and reassessments to identify resident needs and formulate suitable service plans.

- Manage the Resident Services Department within budgetary constraints while adhering to Atria's operational standards.

- Perform daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ensure compliance with state regulations and Atria policies.

- Serve as a point of contact for resident care-related inquiries within the community.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant health and safety regulations for assisted living facilities.

- Schedule and supervise staff, providing coverage as necessary.

- Administer medications as permitted by state-specific guidelines when required.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.

- Provide training and orientation for new staff and ongoing education for current employees.


Maintain effective communication with residents, families, department heads, resident services staff, and the Executive Director.

- Support hospitality, leasing, and sales initiatives by promoting a positive image of Atria.

(Clinical Responsibilities) – Collaborate with the Life Guidance Director to maintain strong community and professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

(Clinical Responsibilities) – Work alongside the Life Guidance Director to address resident care issues within the community.


Assist the Life Guidance Director in supervising, mentoring, and scheduling staff in accordance with Atria's policies and standards.


Collaborate with the Life Guidance Director to establish and uphold a medication management system that complies with all relevant laws and regulations.


Partner with the Life Guidance Director to deliver training and orientation for new staff and ongoing education for current team members.

- Attend and complete required training for self and team members.

- Foster positive relationships with residents' families and healthcare providers.

- Maintain active connections within the community and professional networks.

- May be required to drive a company vehicle for community-related activities (if applicable).

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must be a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or licensed vocational nurse with a valid license as required by state regulations.

- Experience in direct patient care and clinical assessments.

- Proven experience in recruiting, training, and managing personnel in the healthcare sector.

- Previous experience at a department head level in Assisted Living or a related field.

- CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid practices.

- Experience in coordinating educational initiatives.

- Must successfully complete Atria's medication management training and all specified training programs.

- Completion of all state-required training to maintain licensure or certification is necessary.

- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the position.

- Driving responsibilities may be required (may use company vehicle and/or personal vehicle).

- Must possess a valid driver's license and comply with Atria's motor vehicle policy standards.
