This role will support the identification of recommendations for adjustments to IT strategic objectives based on an assessment of the customer's strategic goals and aims. We are looking for solution-oriented professionals who can work autonomously and effectively collaborate with technical teams to document and create DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF) artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide both technical and business insights regarding enterprise architecture decisions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all architectural documentation and workflows, offering system, software, and technical recommendations that improve system processing, data storage, data access, and application development.
  • Analyze and produce documentation that illustrates the interdependencies among processes, technologies, applications, and data.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology use cases, evaluating factors such as feasibility, potential benefits, and opportunities for reuse.
  • Conduct Impact Analysis (IA) for all Change Requests (CRs).
  • Maintain the Enterprise Architecture Roadmap document.
  • Create and sustain detailed DoDAF-based views of current and future business and IT solutions.
  • Evaluate industry best practices and align them with the identified priorities in the customer’s strategic plan.
  • Prepare communication materials and presentations for the developed EA artifacts.
  • Interpret new DoD or NIST legislative requirements concerning initiatives such as Artificial Intelligence, Zero Trust, or IT Modernization.
  • Develop and contribute to governance processes, policies, and standards.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing Enterprise Architecture for IT portfolios.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining System and Enterprise Architecture (EA) views and supporting artifacts in accordance with the DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF).
  • Experience with the principles and practices of Cloud architectures.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, and Hopex Mega to support the EA function.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
This position is primarily remote, but candidates must be available for occasional travel as needed.
