Job Summary

As a Surgical Technician at Monument Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a culture of teamwork and professionalism.

Our Surgical Technicians are responsible for preparing the operating room, handling instruments and supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment. They work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Handle and maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
  • Certification as a Surgical Technician within 12 months of hire
  • 2+ years of cardiovascular experience (for Rapid City Market CV Team)
