Emerald Health Services is seeking a Surgical Operating Room Technician

Shift: Variable / 10x4, 40 hours per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation - If the position requires weekend availability and on-call duties, every 3rd weekend

Holiday Expectations: 2 out of 4 major holidays

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of OR - Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
  • Proficiency in: Neuro, ENT, & Robotics
  • Experience with Davinci XI and Craniotomy is essential for Trauma
  • BLS certification
  • Graduation from an accredited institution
  • Associate Degree in a Healthcare-related discipline
  • CST certification preferred
Additional Information:
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
  • May be required to assist in Central Sterile Processing, as necessary
Patient Demographics: Surgical (Urology/Neuro/Ortho/Robotic/General/Podiatry/ENT)

Patient Ratios: OR 1:1, Pre-Op 1:2, PACU Phase I - 1:1 or 1:2, based on acuity, PACU Phase II - 1:2-3
