About the Job

We are currently seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team at SPJST Rest Home. As a full-time speech therapy specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of residents and contribute to their overall well-being.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of $85,000 per year. You will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure exceptional care delivery.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and implement personalized speech therapy plans tailored to the needs of our residents
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and track progress
  • Work effectively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • A valid certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • At least 2 years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
