About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Design Authority Engineer to join our team at Framatome GmbH. As a key member of our Installed Base Business Unit, you will play a critical role in the design and development of advanced reactor techno-bricks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or contribute to multiple Advanced Reactor projects, ensuring design integrity and technical risk management.
  • Develop and maintain requisite knowledge of Advanced Reactor designs and Framatome techno-bricks to perform the function of the Technical Conscience of the organization.
  • Support DOE advanced reactor initiatives and upgrade of DOE/DOD facilities to support their advanced reactor initiatives.
  • Support Framatome technology risk management mission, by leading and/or participating in assigned technical risk management activities.
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical, Civil, Systems, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or advanced degree in similar fields.
  • At least 7 years of experience in an engineering role, with a strong background in nuclear energy and systems engineering.
  • Experience working on advanced reactor designs, including LWRs and non-LWRs.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills, with the ability to lead and take charge.
  • Broad interdisciplinary knowledge/experience of existing commercial LWRs.
What We Offer

Framatome offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $149,000, as well as annual incentives, performance bonuses, and benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package includes multiple medical plans, dental and vision plans, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and more.
