About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Line Operator to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely production of cables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor extrusion lines to ensure quality and timely production of cables
  • Perform quality checks to ensure cables meet quality specifications
  • Demonstrate proficiency in handling testing equipment, including calipers and OD tape
  • Meet daily output and quality requirements
  • Communicate with supervisors on daily production goals
  • Proactively report any production shortfalls, quality nonconformances, and equipment issues
  • Perform machine startups and changeovers as required
  • Loading and unloading of materials as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • 12 months manufacturing experience
  • Ability to safely maneuver in all functions of the position
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn specialized applications
  • Motivated team player with self-managed work style
