Assistant General Manager Lead

As a key member of our team, the Assistant General Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our clubs. This dynamic individual will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of regional club operations, fostering a positive and enthusiastic team atmosphere, and driving financial growth.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Area Director to determine which club requires assistance on a daily basis.
- Travel to various clubs within the region to provide support and guidance.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing staff of Member Service Representatives, Overnight Leads, and Trainers.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff adheres to superior customer service standards.
- Assist with staff management, providing backup support to the Club Manager as needed.
- Schedule and supervise staff to ensure all shifts are regularly covered.
- Ensure staff provides exceptional customer service at all times.
- Resolve or escalate employee issues or concerns.
- Process weekly employee payroll as needed.
- Provide backup support for absent employees.
- Lead by example, participating in front desk activities and greeting members and guests with a smile.
- Answer phones in a friendly manner, assisting callers with various questions.
- Check members into the system, tour, and sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates or events to members and guests.
- Facilitate member requests and help resolve issues and questions.
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the club, ensuring the front desk area and lobby remain clean and orderly.
- Participate in regular facility cleaning and club upkeep, such as mopping spills, trash removal, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re-racking weights.
- Ensure the safety of employees, members, and club property by identifying equipment or facility needs for repair and communicating with the Club Manager and Facilities Maintenance team in a timely manner.
- Order supplies within the club's budget, based on requirements.
- Track various statistics and reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Manage marketing efforts, ensuring all staff are aware and trained on marketing promotions.
- Make daily bank deposits as needed.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
