Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Kitchen Manager to join our team at Trinity Elms, a 5-star rated skilled nursing facility in Clemmons, NC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our residents.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, and that our kitchen meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Collaborate with our dietary team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible dining experience.

 

Requirements

  • Certified Dietetic Technician, Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Manager, or Executive Chef certification.
  • 1-3 years of cooking and supervisory experience.
  • Servsafe certification (or completion within 60 days of hire).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
