Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Preferred Professional Experience:
A minimum of one year in a customer service role is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is advantageous. This position involves providing support, guidance, and assistance to patients, visitors, and vendors. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately gathering patient demographic and billing details.
- Securing authorization for billing, treatment, admission, and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Collecting co-payments and co-insurance fees while issuing receipts.
- Coordinating diagnostic and treatment services across multiple departments within Davis Health System.
- Assessing patients' insurance coverage and diagnoses to confirm medical necessity when applicable.
