Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including fire alarms, electrical power systems, and emergency generators.
  • Work with other maintenance personnel to ensure that work performed on major equipment is done correctly.
  • Assemble and maintain all pertinent documentation.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, pumps, heating and cooling systems, and plumbing systems.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Master Electrician License preferred; can accept journeyman license.
  • Vo-Tech course in Building Maintenance is a plus, with one year experience.
  • 2 years plant operation & building maintenance preferred.
  • Prior health care experience preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable on the safe operation of related equipment.
  • Must have ability to trouble shoot and repair all types of equipment found in hospital independently.
  • Should have good understanding of how motors, pumps, heating and cooling systems, plumbing systems and related equipment and controls operate.
