Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians is actively seeking a dedicated Neurohospitalist to enhance our esteemed team in the picturesque region of Bloomington, Indiana. The selected physician will be responsible for managing the care of a patient census ranging from 10 to 16 inpatients and will supervise the care provided by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Collaboration with our stroke coordinator is essential to ensure that stroke care and scope of practice are maintained in accordance with our accreditation standards.
Key Position Highlights:
- Be part of a well-established and supportive team of Outpatient Neurologists and Neurohospitalists.
- Full-time role focused entirely on inpatient care, with a schedule of 2 weeks on and 1 week off.
- Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art Regional Academic Health Center/Hospital.
- Opportunity to educate Indiana University School of Medicine students and Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine Residents.
Qualifications Required:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology.
- Physician must hold a valid medical license in Indiana or be eligible for licensure.
- Visa sponsorship is available for H-1B or J-1 candidates.
