About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Care Specialist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our surgical unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy
  • Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher and provide documentation of services
  • Assist with the observation of patients who require constant observation
  • Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required
  • Current CNA certification preferred
