Job Description:

This is an essential position within the KIPP NYC People Team responsible for managing the development and implementation of Employee Experience policies, practices, and initiatives.

The Associate Director, Employee Experience will serve as a trusted advisor to school leaders and regional teams, providing proactive guidance on employee relations matters, workforce engagement, and policy adherence.

Key responsibilities include creating and managing employee relations policies and procedures, conducting thorough investigations, and developing targeted training programs for school leaders on effective employee relations practices.

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across diverse teams, as well as navigate sensitive conversations with tact, empathy, and fairness.
