Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including reviewing and processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Assist with training and development of new pharmacy technicians, including onboarding and coaching.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including identifying and reporting errors and near misses.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
