Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Print Operator to join our team at IWCO Direct LLC. As a Digital Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating wide format inkjet and laser systems, as well as inkjet sheetfed printers, to produce high-quality prints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate wide format inkjet and laser systems, as well as inkjet sheetfed printers, to produce high-quality prints.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and production reports.
  • Perform daily maintenance to ensure color accuracy and quality control.
  • Interpret color gamuts and adjust as needed to ensure color consistency.
  • Assemble jobs properly and maintain appropriate print position.
  • Assist Set-Up Technicians with troubleshooting problems and ensure smooth transition between shifts.
  • Load and unload forms, maintain adequate supply of materials at the machine, and conduct pre-shift checks.
  • Partner with Supervisor to ensure equipment is properly maintained and repaired when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Ability to cross-train on all equipment and assist in training new team members.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or commensurate experience.
  • Manufacturing/production environment experience, lean manufacturing, and/or quality control training preferred.
  • 2+ years' laser operator experience, additional experience in digital print, direct mail, and/or fulfillment industry helpful.
  • Previous participation on a safety team and/or other safety training a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Standard climate-controlled production environment; exposure to loud noise (PPE is provided).
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pivot, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for up to 12 hours.
  • Upper extremity motion requirements: fine motor movements, pushing/pulling with arms, grasping, and pinching.
  • Lower extremity motion requirements: reaching.
