Developmental Care Specialist

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Developmental Paraprofessional to join our team and contribute to the growth and independence of our clients. As a key member of our care team, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, using our developmental approach to care and support.
As a Developmental Paraprofessional, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team that's passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact in the autism community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one play-based care and support to clients with autism
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes growth and development

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or state ID
