Occupational Therapist Position in Bellevue, Washington

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a highly skilled travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bellevue, Washington.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for administering treatment to patients as a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines. They will also educate patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding Occupational Therapy on an ongoing basis.
Additionally, they will observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment; document and report findings as appropriate. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, technical/motor skills, and mental requirements to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Administer treatment to patients as a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines.
- Educate patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding Occupational Therapy on an ongoing basis.
- Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment; document and report findings as appropriate.
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
- One to three years' experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills and physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
- A competitive pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
