In your role as an Office Coordinator, you will be part of a supportive team where patient care is paramount, and continuous improvement is encouraged. Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients upon their arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice. Oversee front office operations, including managing phone calls, handling correspondence, and liaising with patients and insurance providers. Utilize dental software for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records. Coordinate and confirm appointments for multiple dental professionals. Process insurance claims and follow up on pending claims, verifying benefits and explaining coverage options. Record patient payments and manage accounts receivable. Discuss treatment costs and payment plans with patients. Collaborate with dental providers and staff to implement operational systems that enhance office efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with handling protected health information (PHI) and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in a dental or medical office. Experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable management. Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Capability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed. Willingness to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year.
