Role Summary: The Bilingual Patient Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for new patients. The ideal candidate will exhibit a welcoming demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to professionalism and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling for new patients seeking initial evaluations in physical therapy.
- Manage multiple phone lines while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Organize incoming patient referrals efficiently.
- Keep provider schedules updated and accurate.
- Ensure the precision of patient information entered into the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes as necessary.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a medical office environment.
- Exemplary professionalism and phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage a high volume of phone calls.
- Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred.
