Role Summary: The Bilingual Patient Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for new patients. The ideal candidate will exhibit a welcoming demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to professionalism and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate scheduling for new patients seeking initial evaluations in physical therapy.
  • Manage multiple phone lines while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Organize incoming patient referrals efficiently.
  • Keep provider schedules updated and accurate.
  • Ensure the precision of patient information entered into the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical office environment.
  • Exemplary professionalism and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of phone calls.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of insurance verification and eligibility processes.
  • Strong analytical skills for managing provider schedules.
