We're seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop yourself through meaningful work projects and learning opportunities. You'll work with our extensive product lines, providing technical expertise to customers and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions
  • Provide technical expertise to customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Mentor and train mechanical workforce on building automation systems
  • Compile job documentation and conduct self-study to improve technical proficiency

Requirements

  • Three years of industry experience or five years of experience in servicing electronic and mechanical systems in HVAC
  • Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, and peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner
  • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
  • Leadership skills to support the activities of mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical building automation equipment on a job site

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational School four-year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field
