Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Big Bend Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
    • Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
  • Diagnostic Imaging Services
    • Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
    • Conduct C-arm procedures and OR imaging services
    • Process CT systems and perform surgical/sterile procedures
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic services
    • Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure their comfort and understanding of the diagnostic process
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA school
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • State licensure as a general radiographer
  • Proficiency in CT scanning procedures and CT system processing
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and contrast media
