We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Big Bend Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Certification and Licensure
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
- Diagnostic Imaging Services
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
- Conduct C-arm procedures and OR imaging services
- Process CT systems and perform surgical/sterile procedures
- Communication and Teamwork
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic services
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure their comfort and understanding of the diagnostic process
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- State licensure as a general radiographer
- Proficiency in CT scanning procedures and CT system processing
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and contrast media
