We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseperson-Banquets to join our team at The Westin Charlotte. As a Houseperson-Banquets, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the banquet areas, as well as providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Complete final breakdown of function, including cleaning the room and returning equipment to its proper location.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas to ensure a clean and efficient environment.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
- Transport dirty linen to the correct area to be cleaned and restock linen shelves with clean linens.
- Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
